All our soap dishes are made in our
Brooksville, Florida shop. We use only sustainable woods like
Pine and Eastern Cedar*. The thickness of any soap dish
can vary due to wood purchases and sanding issues,
but usually between 5/8" to 3/4".
They are all sanded to 120 grit. (Smooth to the touch.)
All of our dishes are of solid, one piece construction. No gluing.
As you know, there is a wide variance when using Pine or Cedar*.
Expect to see some knotholes, blemishes, light and dark grains,
and other naturally occurring characteristics.
These variations do not impact normal use or strength.
